My Little Saga Echoes of the Past
Long before the girls walked the frost-bound paths of the woods, before friendship softened the edge of swords and stories lit fires in the hearts of strangers, a stone lay buried beneath sacred earth.
It pulsed with a power not born of men but carried in the breath of gods forgotten and revered. The Picts called it a soul anchor. The Vikings saw in it the gaze of Odin. But to Eadward, a priest torn between scripture and spirit, it was something else entirely an echo of truth he could not name.
In silence he watched as greed carved paths through consecrated ground. A sacred site razed, its bones scattered, its guardians left unheard. The talisman vanished. And with it, Eadward.
Some say he sought redemption. Others whisper he was taken. But the wind remembers. And the forest watches. And in the tale of two sisters, whose hearts were bold and whose steps fell in rhythm with destiny, the silence would speak again.

My Little Saga is a timeless series of tales for readers aged 9 to 18, following two young children born in the Golden Age of the Vikings.

My Little Saga The Journey Begins
This story follows the adventurous journey of two young Viking sisters, Solveig and Tove, as they navigate their lives in a small village during the Golden Age of the Vikings. Their longing for adventure leads them to unexpected challenges and opportunities as they embark on a journey beyond their homestead.
The wind howled through the fjords, carrying the scent of brine and pine, whispering of battle and survival. On the rocky shores of the Fjord was a homestead.
The sea was both life and death. It stretched endlessly beyond the fjords, carrying the promise of silver-laden shores and the whispers of battle. Thorstein knew its depths well. His hands were calloused from hauling nets yet firm from gripping the hilt of his sword. A fisherman by trade, a warrior by necessity.
In the twilight glow, Anders sat by the fire, his weathered face a map of old battles, and his voice weaving sagas of gods and conquest. The children, Solveig and Tove, listened wide-eyed, their young minds alight with dreams of distant lands and heroic deeds. Sigrid, ever watchful, knew the past was heavy but the future heavier still.
Ingrid worked beside her husband, tending to the home that held their family together like the ribs of a longship. Hard days lay ahead of the world beyond their village. The old gods still lingered in the minds of men, but steel and survival dictated fate.
Not forgetting the children’s dog named Skål who stood vigil, his keen eyes scanning the horizon, watching over the ones he loved.
The fire crackled, the wind carried the scent of salt and iron, and the night grew long. Tomorrow, the sea would call again.
